Dr. Katherine Haldeman understands how difficult it can be when a beloved pet is in pain — especially when traditional treatments fall short.
Early in her veterinary career, she encountered many patients suffering from conditions like arthritis and intervertebral disc disease who either didn’t respond well to conventional medications or couldn’t tolerate them due to other health concerns. Determined to offer better options, she turned to veterinary rehabilitation therapy.
She has pursued her medical practices further and became graduated in 2013 as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist by the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, Dr. Haldeman is passionate about helping pets regain comfort, mobility, and quality of life through a personalized, integrative approach. Whether it’s a senior dog struggling with joint pain or a pet recovering from surgery, she tailors each rehabilitation plan to meet the unique needs of every patient and their family.
Originally from Lancaster, New Hampshire, Dr. Haldeman earned both her BS in Animal and Dairy Science (2000) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2004) from Auburn University. Since completing her rehab certification in 2013, she has continued to expand her expertise in rehabilitation, laser therapy, and geriatric medicine.
