Andrea Maddox, DVM
Dr. Andrea Maddox is originally from Tullahoma, TN and grew up riding and competing horses in eventing competitions. She worked as a veterinary technician for equine practices and small animal practices during her college and veterinary school years. Dr. Maddox earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from Mississippi State University in 2004. She then attended The University of Tennessee Veterinary School to obtain a DVM degree in 2009. She has been working in Huntsville, AL since 2010 at small animal exclusive practices and mixed animal practices. Dr. Maddox's interests include small animal radiology and dentistry as well as small and large animal chiropractic care. She is also a member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Dr. Maddox is also certified in animal acupuncture. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kent, and two sons, Walter and Henry. Dr. Maddox pet family include two labs Teak and Coal, one standard poodle named Rye, two lovable cats Baxter and Lulu Bean, and a horse named George.
